Woodridge Local School District

Having served for many years as a part of the Woodridge Local Schools team, I have witnessed first-hand how special our district is. The importance of the new role I embark upon now is not lost on me. 

The Woodridge Way will guide us as we prepare our students for the ever-evolving landscape of their future. We know this requires a strong partnership between families, staff, students, and community members dedicated to providing students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in school and in life. 

A goal that will take precedence as the new school year begins is for us to have meaningful engagement with each other so that every student feels supported and empowered on their educational journey. With this in mind, I will continuously work to build and strengthen relationships and partnerships. This includes talking with students, parents, staff members and other community stakeholders to understand their needs, hopes, and expectations for our district. With these conversations, we will work together to determine the most important priorities for our district in the coming years. Together we can ensure that everyone has equitable access to high-quality education here in the Woodridge Local School District. 

The trust a community places in its school system is an immense responsibility, and I consider it a sacred duty to care for and educate the children here in Woodridge. We will continue to focus on preparing our students for future success by providing the resources and support they need to achieve at high levels. In addition, we will prioritize educating the whole child so their health and well-being is ensured. Finally, we will explore different platforms to engage with families in order to strengthen relationships within our district. My hope is that together, we can continue to create an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging and is excited about learning.
